Acquiring and maintaining skills and expertise through training is one of the objectives proposed by the John Cockerill Services Talent Institute. Our experts provide three types of training: safety training, job-related training and technical training, which enable the optimisation of career paths.
The Talent Institute
Industry offers us great prospects for the future,
let's safeguard our expertise
Jobs training
The objective of the job-related training courses is to offer learners the possibility, over a period of 3 to 8 months, to acquire solid skills in a specific job. These courses are pre-qualifying and/or qualifying and are given by experts in real-life situations. This allows the trainees to assimilate the tasks necessary to practice the art of the trade while having the chance to use the latest generation of machines. These courses are open to anyone, regardless of their profile, experience, status or membership of another company. Prior to these training courses, basic training (see § Technical and safety training) will be provided.
Safety training
The aim of safety training is to enable learners to acquire or update their knowledge of safety. Indeed, safety is an elementary priority and knowledge of basic gestures is essential for any intervention in any field, and all the more so in the industrial environment. These training modules can be personalised and individualised to suit the level of each learner and are open to anyone regardless of their profile, experience, status or membership of another company.
Technical training
Technical training courses are designed to enable learners to acquire or update their basic technical knowledge in an industrial environment. Indeed, they cover subjects as varied as: reading drawings, metrology or traditional and laser lining and are open to anyone regardless of their profile or experience. Easily adaptable, they can be personalised and/or individualised. This basic training will be given before all the specific training courses given by the Talent Institute.
